Koru Praxis draws on a combination of current advisory assignments and prior field-based leadership roles across Europe and Africa. The experience below reflects the kinds of contexts, responsibilities, and project realities that inform the consultancy’s work today. The founder has led and coordinated value-chain and enterprise work across oil palm, cacao, coffee, and wheat, combining field operations with programme oversight. Responsibilities included financial and logistical coordination, cooperative development, processing expansion, mechanised agroecological demonstration systems, and environmental safeguards in a highly constrained operating environment.

A technical feasibility and options assessment for the valorisation of effluents and by-products from artisanal palm oil processing, including a field characterisation approach and option screening adapted to local operational realities.

Combined strategic planning with operational leadership across plantation, processing, and smallholder systems. The role covered agroecological cultivation, value-chain optimisation, organisational restructuring, KPI development, partnership management, feasibility studies, and employee capacity support, alongside oversight of more than 1,000 hectares, two palm oil mills, more than 1,500 employees, and a large smallholder programme.
Agroforestry-based reforestation and implementation coordination

Coordinated an agroforestry-based reforestation project covering more than 100 hectares, including nursery operations, implementation planning, monitoring, control, and reporting.
Applied agroforestry and land management consultancy

Provided consultancy support on alternative management practices, holistic livestock handling, irrigation systems, agroforestry monitoring, and applied land-use design, including the design of an agroecological apple orchard and ecotourism farm in Cantabria.
