How assignments begin
Most collaborations begin with an exchange to understand the context, the stage of the initiative, and the kind of support required. From there, the scope can remain focused or develop into a broader collaboration, depending on the project’s needs.
Strategic advisory
Koru Praxis supports organisations, entrepreneurs, landowners, and project teams navigating complex land-based decisions. This may include project framing, concept refinement, feasibility reflection, prioritisation, implementation logic, or strategic review at moments when direction is unclear. This type of support is particularly useful when a project is promising but not yet fully coherent, when assumptions need to be tested, or when a client needs an external perspective to sharpen judgement and decision-making.
Technical and field assessments
Koru Praxis undertakes assessment work aimed at understanding the actual functioning of a site, system, process, or value chain. Depending on the assignment, this may involve field observation, system diagnostics, environmental review, operational mapping, risk identification, or analysis of bottlenecks affecting viability. The purpose is to move beyond general impressions and provide a clearer basis for decision-making, whether for design, investment, implementation, or corrective action.
Project design and structuring
Koru Praxis supports clients in translating broad ambitions into more coherent project architecture. This may include agroforestry design logic, regenerative transition pathways, pilot formulation, phased implementation approaches, or alignment between ecological objectives and operational realities. This work is especially relevant where a project needs stronger internal logic, clearer sequencing, or better integration between technical, operational, and strategic dimensions.
Writing and investment support
Koru Praxis prepares clear, well-structured written material for donors, investors, internal teams, or external partners. This may include concept notes, technical memoranda, business plans, strategic notes, proposals, or other forms of decision-support documentation. The emphasis is on producing documents that are both persuasive and truthful: strong enough to support engagement, but grounded enough to remain credible.
